Vice Chairman of the Australian National 4WD Radio Network Inc.
awarded Long and Meritorious Service Medal.

Ken Metcalfe (0002) from Alice Springs Base has been awarded the Bushfires Northern Territory Volunteer Long & Meritorious Service Medal.

Ken has been fighting fires for around fifty years, joining the NSW fire service in December 1958. After NSW he spent nine years as a fire-fighter Elcho Island and was a founding member of the Alice Springs Volunteer Bushfire Brigade around fourteen years ago.
